A 20-year-old Greenfields man was given his “last opportunity” this morning, after the court was told he scared Liqourland staff members by brandishing a wine bottle.
Tyrone Shannon Ugle pleaded guilty to 13 charges in the Mandurah Magistrates Court, including seven counts of stealing, disorderly behaviour in public and obstructing a police officer.
Prosecuting sergeant Sean Discombe told the court between November 2017 and March 2018, Ugle stole $384 worth of alcohol from liquor stores in Mandurah and Meadow Springs.

On January 2018, he told police his name was Chris Nannup, and said he did not know it was illegal not to give his real name.
Magistrate Anne Longden told the court the most serious charge was when Ugle raised a bottle of wine, attempting to throw it at a staff member at the Mandurah Forum Liqourland on Janurary 21, 2018.
Defence lawyer Matt Davey told the court Ugle never intended to throw the bottle and was going to do counselling to address his alcohol problem.
Ms Longden said Ugle was heading down a path that would lead to jail if he did not turn things around.
She said it was Ugle’s last opportunity and the only reason he was not going to jail was his age and that he had accepted responsibility.
He was dealt a nine month community order.
Ugle would appear in court on April 6 for disorderly behavour and obstructing a police officer, which he has pleaded not guilty.
