Hundreds of Western Australia’s finest ocean swimmers dove into the waters at Mandurah’s Town Beach for round 10 of the Open Water Swim Series early on Monday morning.
The Swimming WA event saw a huge contingent of keen distance swimmers hit the water, including local stars Rebekah Weller and Ben Roots, who finished first in the female 5km and male 2.5km swims respectively.

Competitors took on distances of 1.25km, 2.5km and 5km in the penultimate round of the series, with conditions at the Mandurah beach proving more challenging as the morning went on.
Spectators enjoyed beautiful conditions on the beach for the public holiday morning swim.
