Both the Thomson Street Netball Pavilion and Rushton Park were filled to the brim with young athletes from around the state when the Aboriginal Youth Sport Super Carnival hit Mandurah on Sunday.
A combined effort between both Netball WA and the West Australian Football Commission, the carnival brought hundreds of young athletes and even more spectators to the city.

Eager netballers got to represent their region as part of Netball WA’s Aboriginal Youth Gala Day, hosted by the Mandurah Netball Association, while the WAFC’s Nicky Winmar Cup saw all three Rushton Park ovals flooded with youngsters chomping at the bit for a pre-season footy hit-out.
The carnival kicked off on Friday with a junior girls football event in Noranda.
