Local gallery Vivid Art Collective has donated $400 to help homeless and vulnerable people in Mandurah, through the sale of a charity artwork.
The 80 centimetre circular piece was created at a community resin workshop hosted by local artist Lucy Catherine and auctioned off for Mandurah charity Halo.
In the heart of the city’s CBD, the gallery showcases a diverse range of works from seven local artists including: Corrine Rapley, Carol Hazel, Lorraine Bawden, Donna Ree Muir, Karen O’Keeffe and Lucy Catherine.
The community workshop, held in December, taught 10 women the basic safety and skills of working with the medium.
