Aerial snapshots of Yarloop have revealed the damage the deadly blaze caused in 2016.
The Waroona-Yarloop fires tore through the region, leaving residents homeless and burning down many public buildings.
The town of Yarloop, 120 kilometres south of Perth was hit hard after it was gutted by the blaze.

Since 2016, the grass has grown in gardens and verges, destroyed buildings have been demolished, and reticulation has been installed in and parks and gardens.
Life continues for locals who chose to stay.
However, the footprint of fires is still visible in town, with homes and their luscious gardens neighbouring sandpits, concrete slabs, and the burnt metal which remains from the old heritage workshops.
