A Pinjarra restaurant is welcoming back live music on Sunday afternoons by hosting a Gold Coast band this weekend, on their ten-year anniversary tour.
Redcliffe on the Murray will welcome Hussy Hicks on Sunday, February 25 for an afternoon of music from 4pm.
Restaurant owner Nicole Young said she was excited to be welcoming free live music back to the venue after a short break.
“We’re very excited to be having music again,” she said. “We hope people come along and show their support.”
Ms Young added that the restaurant had only original acts play rather than cover bands. “We love supporting Australian artists,” she said.
She said the bands usually play a two-hour set in the relaxed, “chilled” restaurant.
“We’re an old rustic barn that’s family friendly and open for food and drinks,” Ms Young said. “Dogs are welcome on leads.”
This weekend’s band Hussy Hicks have released five full-length albums, traveled the globe playing countless gigs in the US and Europe and Australian festivals.

The female duo will play their new single Silence Creeping, a “haunting but resolute melody” that reflected the “desperate inability to get out of your own head”, a Hussy Hicks spokesperson said.
Americana singer Paddy McHugh is lined up to play at the restaurant next Sunday, March 4.
