“Action” Jackson England notched his biggest milestone yet when he scored a top-10 spot in the Australian National Boxing Federation rankings earlier this month.
The Mandurah-based fighter’s undefeated run through his first three professional bouts was recognised in the rankings as he launched his way into seventh spot in the Australian super featherweight division.
England has been nothing but class since he stepped into the pro circuit, delivering a trifecta of wins within his first three fights and making a name for himself as one of Western Australia’s best up and coming prospects.

The young gun said he was thrilled to land his first top-10 rank.
“I’d actually just finished training and was sitting at home with my family when I found out, so we were all just really excited,” he said.
“I was a bit in shock really – I didn’t know what to think.”
England said the achievement was something he’d been eyeing off for months, and that it had inspired him more than ever to chase the number one position.
“If anything this is going to push me harder in my training, knowing I’m so close to getting the number one spot,” he said.
“I don’t just want to be known as one of the big names in WA or Australia, I want to be known as one of the best fighters worldwide so I’ve just got to keep pushing.
“There’s no letting up from here.”
England’s professionalism and eye-catching fighting style has impressed plenty of figureheads in WA’s boxing circles.
Dragon Fire Boxing promoter Tony Tolj said the top-10 rating was a well-deserved feat for the rising star.
“It’s a massive achievement for Jackson,” he said.
“He will be pushing in the coming months to win the state title and then the Australian title after that.”
The next few months will be the biggest stretch of England’s young career with his fourth professional fight at Thunderdome 24 scheduled for March 16, just two months before his first state title fight in May.
