Mandurah’s David Jones is set to be a WA first, according to CEO David Thomas.
The retailing giant’s store set to open at the $350 million Mandurah Forum redevelopment will be the first in the state to showcase the company’s new contemporary look.
“I think it’s very new for the region and I think it needs it,” Mr Thomas said.
“We certainly have some great customers there and some great brand loyalty, and we’re bringing what is truly a world class store.
“It’s a new generation store from what we’ve been building, designed by our architects out of London.
“To be able to bring this international level department store to the south of WA like this, I think it will really stand it apart and put it in good stead for the future.”
