Edenvale Homestead will receive a new lease on life each month, with the well-loved Pinjarra Railway Markets deciding to call the iconic precinct home.
After a request from the Shire of Murray, the market committee decided to pack up shop and relocate to the town’s heritage hub from their former location, which was opposite the railway station.
A location they had traded in for more than 20 years.

Ms O’Conner said it was a big decision to make.
Pinjarra’s iconic Edenvale Homestead was the home of former Premier of Western Australia Sir Ross McLarty throughout his childhood and for most of his political life.
The building is heritage-listed and draws significant attention from visitors to the town about 19 kilometres from Mandurah.
Ms O’Conner said having a the Heritage Tearooms and the Pinjarra Visitor Information Point in close proximity was a boon for stall holders.
The precinct host’s the annual Pinjarra Festival and a number of other events, functions and community activities throughout the year.
The surrounds are also home to the Roger May Machinery Museum, Murray Arts and Crafts Society and the Pinjarra Patchwork and Quilters Club.
Ms O’Connor said the Pinjarra Railway Markets committee may look to change their name down the track to reflect their location.
