Mandurah and Peel Tourism Organisation (MAPTO) has revealed its fresh new look for the 2018 Visitor Guide.
“We’ve upgraded the content completely with new sections, new imagery, and a new focus on our superb local produce, Aboriginal heritage and cultural tourism experiences and unique natural assets including the Ramsar-listed, Peel-Yalgorup Wetlands System,” MAPTO CEO Karen Priest said.
Ms Priest said the 2018 guide – which was launched at The Sebel Mandurah on Tuesday – was the best supported in the history of the publication with more than 40 advertisements.
“I’m delighted that the level of participation in the guide is at its highest ever, and the content will be seen by more and more potential visitors as we boost its distribution even further when the MAPTO team take it to trade events such as Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME) in February and Australian Travel Exchange (ATE) in April.”
The region’s peak tourism body worked collaboratively with a number of regional photographers, industry partners and tourism operators to collate and create the guide’s new look.
“The new imagery is authentic, stunning and complements the refreshed content,” Ms Priest said.
“As our number one marketing tool it is important to provide domestic and international audiences with new information that will inspire them to visit the region.”
The newly released guide can be picked up from visitor centres in the Peel region and throughout Western Australia, or viewed and downloaded from visitpeel.com.au
