A Erskine resident was left horrified on Monday after stumbling upon a decapitated kangaroo.
Jenny Spencer was enjoying her regular walk through Len Howard Conservation Reserve when she found the dead kangaroo.
Ms Spencer said because of the way the marsupial was mangled, she alleged it had been decapitated by a person rather than a natural cause.
She said she was appalled by the scene and immediately called authorities.
