Running from January 17 to February 25, the community has plenty of time to view or buy the works on offer.
An official exhibition opening will be held on January 21 at 4.15pm.
The opening will give community members the opportunity to discuss pieces or techniques with involved artists.
Internationally renowned plein air artist Leon Holmes will also be on hand to demonstrate how to capture the late afternoon light with paint.
“En plein air” is a French expression which means “in the open air” and is particularly used to describe the act of painting outdoors.
Local artist Deborah Zibah joined the group in November 2014.
She said there was significant social benefits compared to working in an isolated studio.
There's nothing nicer than being outside with a brunch of like-minded people,” she said.
Ms Zibah said the process was a great way to “get to know the region” and that Mandurah was a great place to explore, through the group.
She said through sitting outdoors artists could capture the atmosphere, the light and the experience of the moment.
“Painting is a lot harder outdoors,” she said.
Coming from a background of large abstract painting made with bees wax and oil, Ms Zibah said intially it was hard to adjust to working on paints less that were 20 x 30 centimetres.
The group held an exhibition in January.
“That was really successful. So we thought we would have another to build on that,” she said.
“Plein Air painting has had a real resurgence worldwide.”
