A four metre shark has been sighted in the Mandurah Estuary near Stingray Point.
The shark was sighted 100 metres offshore, half way across the channel towards King Carnival.
The shark sighting was reported to authorities about 1pm on Friday.
Initially the shark was reported in the Peel Inlet, but Surf Life Saving WA confirmed that location was incorrect about half an hour later.
