There was a lot of happy families on Monday night after a boat took about 170 children on a Christmas Lights Cruise through the Port Mandurah canals.
Camp Quality hired a Mandurah Cruise boat to take children with cancer and their families on the enjoyable excursion.
The children were from the Peel and Perth regions.
They cruised through the wonderland of Christmas lights in the Port Mandurah Canals, with Christmas carols playing and residents waving from their balconies.
Mandurah Cruises spokesperson Natalie Goddard said it was the perfect way to end the season.
“The Port Mandurah canal residents left their lights up,” she said.
“The smiles and joy this event brought to the children and their families living with cancer was so wonderful to witness.”
