There is a whole heap of things to do for young people during the school holidays in Mandurah. 

Falcon eLibrary, Lakelands Library and Mandurah Library have fun activities on every day to keep children and teenagers entertained.

From cupcake decorating to woodwork and even a scooter workshop, there is something different and free to do most days.

Roller Disco 

The Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre will be hosting a roller disco this Friday, Janurary 12, from 5.30-7.30pm. 

There will be music, games and prizes.

All ages are welcome to attend on the night. 

Bring your own skates and protective gear.

Explore science 

In this program students aged 7 to 17 can explore the wonders of science, technology, engineering, art and maths (STEAM). 

STEAM is a way of learning across subjects that encourages students to question and talk about the world around them. 

Students will work collaboratively to problem solve, be creative and explore.

These students can prepare to be future innovators, educators, leaders, and learners of the 21st century!

The program will beheld at Lakelands Library & Community Centre on January 16 and 23 from 5-6pm.

Create floral headbands 

Attend this workshop to take old and tired fake flowers and give them new life as a flower crown.

Not only does this avoid consumerism and fast fashion, it upcycles old to new and gives you a beautiful, reusable creation all of your own.

This workshop includes demonstration techniques and materials.

Henry Sutton Grove Excursion

An exciting excursion has been organised by the All Day Vacation Centre to Henry Sutton Grove. 

Children will spend the day outdoors, so Slip, Slop, Slap. They will get to make sandcastles and paddle in the shallows of the water and will not be swimming.

There is plenty of shade and a playground and lunch is provided. 

The excursion will be on Thursday, January 18 from 9am to 4pm.
