The Mandurah Returned and Services League (RSL) has been welcomed by the Mandurah Bowling Club with open arms after having to relocate from their former base on Third Avenue.
In the midst of a switch from their old Third Avenue home to a new facility on Rouse Road, the club was facing being without a home for as long as three months until the bowling club opened its doors to the ex-service men and women.

Mandurah RSL president Brian Dillon thanked the club, saying their hospitality had gone above and beyond.
“We can’t thank the bowls club enough. They’ve welcomed us with open arms, given us a place to hold our meets and really made us feel at home,” he said.
“We’re hoping to be in our new home on Rouse Road by around March or April, so to still have somewhere to meet in the mean time has been fantastic.”
The RSL hopes to have it’s new base up and running in time for ANZAC Day.
