Frederick Irwin Anglican School has announced ministerial approval has been granted for its new Halls Head campus.
Refurbishment and maintenance have already commenced with much of the major work being done during the Christmas and New Year school holiday break.
Key changes for the new Halls Head Campus include internal and external painting, clearing of long grasses, removal of dead trees, ovals and grounds upkeep, new furniture, installation of new communication and IT structures, addition of parent communication boards, and a new and secure boundary line fence.
Principal, Ms Kerry Robertson said she was delighted to announce the Head of Primary for the Halls Head Campus would be Mr Noah Clark (who is currently the Deputy Head of Primary at the Meadow Springs Campus).
“Mr Clark has been proactive in the development of educational initiatives at the Meadow Springs Campus, and we are excited that he will be bringing his experience and educational expertise to the Halls Head Campus to implement our Primary Walker Learning Approach,” Ms Robertson said.
“We are very much looking forward to welcoming our new Halls Head Campus families into the School at the start of next year.”
The Walker Learning Approach is an Australian developmental pedagogy that embraces the concept of the ‘whole child’ and encompasses intentional teaching through play.
