Five businesses from the Peel region were recognised at the Western Australian Regional Small Business Awards on Friday night.
Mandurah Boat and Bike Hire, 4 Life Physiotherapy, Cox Legal, Three Rivers Brewing Company and Eco Spa were all named finalists for the awards and were presented with trophies at the awards evening.
Nudge Psychological Assessment and Consulting from Busselton was named 2017 Western Australian Regional Small Business of the Year.
Each category award winner received $1000 from the Small Business Development Corporation.
Nudge Psychological Assessment and Consulting, as WA Regional Small Business of the Year, also received $25,000 worth of television advertising from GWN7 and the production of a 30-second commercial through Lomax Media.
