Children at a local school gained a taste of the Scottish Highlands when the Western Australian Police Pipe Band played at a packed out assembly.
Halls Head Primary School students were lucky enough to receive a visit from the band on Thursday morning.
Students had the opportunity to ask band members questions about the instruments they played.
Officers Robertson, Murray, Walker, Brittain, Spencer, Hume, MacDonald, Hannah, Johnstone, Potter and Bowles played at the assembly.
Since 1966 the WA Police Pipe Band has delivered traditional and contemporary musical performances at ceremonies around the state.
In the past year the band has performed about 235 community events, totally more than 1.5 million people.
