It was the year of back-to-back for the Peel Football League in 2010.
The Waroona Demons went undefeated on their way to back-to-back flags and Rowan Arnott claimed his second straight Ross Elliott Medal.
The Demons dominated throughout the year and were unphased in their grand final victory over Mandurah.
Led by best on ground Ben Matthews-Herrald the Demons cruised to a 94-point thumping to win the club’s second league flag.
But there was some solace for the Mandurah crew, who took out the reserves premiership on the day after Rockingham claimed a win in the colts.
Arnott’s second straight Ross Elliott Medal win came on the back of a switch from South Mandurah to Rockingham, as he topped the Falcons’ Malcolm Yarran for the honour.
Waroona’s Jasan Hysen took over as the games record holder after playing his 300th, while Mandurah’s Shane Brew took out the colts rising star award.
Southies sharpshooter Rod Tregenza made it five straight leading goal-kicker trophies, booting a perfect 100 on the year.
