Perth radio station 96FM has axed its breakfast show hosts Carmen and Fitzi with the duo set to be replaced by Lisa Fernandez and Paul Hogan in 2018.
After poor ratings and recently being ranked Perth's sixth most popular breakfast show, Carmen Braidwood and Brad Fitzgerald will finish up at the station on Monday.
The change to the local line-up follows news earlier this month Australian Radio Network's (96FM's) national drive show Hughesy and Kate would be replaced by Will McMahon and Woody Whitelaw, who currently make up two thirds of Hit 92.9's Heidi, Will and Woody breakfast show.
ARN content director Duncan Campbell said the changes would "reignite the heritage and strength of the 96FM brand in Perth".
Fernandez and Hogan will return to the breakfast radio airwaves after being part of the Lisa, Paul and Baz show together several years ago on Hit 92.9.
Fernandez has since taken up a role as a mornings presenter at Nine News Perth, while Hogan is part of Hobart's number one rating FM breakfast show.
Hit 92.9 is yet to announce its new breakfast line-up, with McMahon and Woody due to head east for their new Australian Radio Network gig in 2018.
