The vibrant colours and designs of Mandurah artist Emma Blyth have given Makers Lane a makeover.
Just outside Make Place on Tuckey Street, the popular local painter put her talents – and those of Mandurah Primary School students – to creative use to give the area a facelift.
The project is part of a revitalisation plan for the area, spearheaded by The Makers.
Skipper Van Peer from The Makers said a new garden and benches will complete the project in coming weeks and bring “new life” to the city centre.
Emma and a group of volunteers worked over the weekend to get the mural applied, with fish painted by local students being showcased in the work.
Make Place plan to launch the new look with a Christmas party later this year.
