It was a big year of footy for the Peel Football League in 2007, particularly for the Centrals Football Club.
They took home their fourth league premiership with a victory over minor premiers South Mandurah, and their very own Jason Morgan claimed both the Ross Elliott Medal for the league’s best and fairest and the best on ground medal in the grand final.
Falcons goal machine Rod Tregenza booted 124 majors to take out the league’s leading goal-kicker award for the second straight year.
Amazingly, 124 was somewhat of a small total for Rod, who won the award with 130 goals in 2012, 132 in 2009, 172 in 2006 and a monstrous 223 in 2008.
Tregenza’s Falcons took out all three minor premierships in 2007, and won the flags in both the colts and reserves.
