Mandurah MP David Templeman has reminded constituents written submissions close on Monday for the Western Australian Parliament’s inquiry into the legalisation of euthanasia.
Mr Templeman said he was urging people to put their point of view to the committee that will decide if laws will go before parliament in 2018.
“It’s a real opportunity for people to have their say,” he said.
“I’d hate for people interested to miss out on speaking up on this important issue.
“For those thinking about it, the time to do it is now”.
Mr Templeman said the feedback he had received had in many cases been “heart-rending”.
Further information about the terms of reference and the presentation of submissions can be found on the committee’s website at www.parliament.wa.gov.au/eolcc or by contacting the Legislative Assembly Committee Office on 9222 7494.
