A man spotted with a replica pistol in central Mandurah on Tuesday morning has been taken into custody.
Mandurah police responded to a call from a member of the public who said they saw a man trying to break into a Randell Street home about 9.45am.
The caller reported the man looked to be armed with a gun.
Shortly after, the man was seen walking along Cooper Street towards Anstruther Road, where he was arrested.
Charges have not yet been laid, with investigations continuing.
