... it is an absolute must, as a parent, to ensure that your children learn to swim so that they are safe in and around water.
- Scott Turner
Now that Go Swimming Mandurah has opened, local residents have a great new option when it comes to choosing a high-quality learn-to-swim program for their children.
Go Swimming Mandurah operates from a private, purpose-built facility in North Mandurah, near Bunnings.
The water is heated to 32 degrees, classes are small and graded, and lessons run all year round, not in school terms, so you can start your lessons at any time.
There are also no distractions like at larger council swimming pools, so the focus is solely on learning to swim.
The swim school manager, Katii Traeger, also recently won the 2017 Austswim Infant and Pre-School Aquatics Award.
“With swimming an essential part of growing up in WA, it is an absolute must, as a parent, to ensure that your children learn to swim so that they are safe in and around water,” Go Swimming manager Scott Turner said.
“We focus on water safety as well as learning to swim, and every quarter we run a special safety week program as an extension of our normal learn to swim program, so children and parents can learn some extra safety skills.”
Go Swimming Mandurah teaches swimming to babies from five months through to school age children.
Lessons run Monday to Wednesday mornings and Tuesday after school.
“We also offer a free trial lesson, so get in touch with us and start your child learning to swim today,” Mr Turner said.
