Cantwell Park will ring out with the joyful sound of carols this December as Murray’s annual Christmas Celebration returns to the banks of the Murray River for another enjoyable, festive season event.
The Murray Community Christmas Celebration will take place from 5-8.30pm on Wednesday December 6, 2017.
The event will offer entertainment for all ages and according to Shire President Cr Maree Reid, is a highlight on the Shire’s calendar.
“With preparations well underway for this not-to-be-missed event, I strongly encourage residents and visitors to save the date and join us for a festive celebration," Cr Reid said.
Stallholder applications are now open across a variety of categories.
The Shire is appealing to food vendors, performers and amusement and activity providers to help foster the Christmas cheer.
According to Cr Reid, the event attracts attendees from across the region and is the perfect platform for business exposure and showcasing talent.
Community groups are encouraged to support this year’s event through the provision of children’s activities.
Volunteers are also sought, to assist with event set up and pull down and general hand responsibilities.
