A pair of talented Mandurah netballers are eyeing WA Netball League premierships with the Coastal Sharks this weekend.
Jessica Penny and Rebecca Nitschke will be out for a win when the Sharks take on the West Coast Warriors in both the league and reserves grand finals, in match-ups identical to their semi final hit outs which saw the Sharks pick up a pair of wins.
The league side booked their place in the grand final with an eight-point win over the Warriors a fortnight ago, while the reserves went through an identical situation with their own eight-point victory.
Now the two clubs will meet again with their seasons on the line.
Coastal Sharks reserves coach Naomi Pannell said it was an exciting time for the club.
“To have both our league and reserves sides in the grand finals is great for us and the girls have worked so hard to get there,” she said.
“Overall I think it’s just good for netball in the area and hopefully we can go out there and come home with a win.”
The league returns to the grand final after a lengthy absence, while the reserves are searching for a stunning sixth straight premiership.
The reserves final kicks off at the State Netball Centre’s show courts on Sunday, 2pm with the league following at 4pm.
