Volunteers from the Hotham Valley Railway are set to bring the region roaring to life in September when they celebrate the 41st anniversary of the popular tourist attraction.
John Cabrera, from the railway’s anniversary festival committee, said they were looking to build on the success of the 2016 celebrations.
“It was a fantastic turnout with people attending from all over Perth," he said.
“This year we are once again having our anniversary festival in Dwellingup from 10am-3pm, Sunday September 17.”
Mr Cabrera said festival attractions would be free, however train tickets would be available for purchase prior to and during event.
This year’s attractions include:
- Steam Ranger Services at 10.30am and 2pm
- Live Music
- Classic Car Display
- Restaurant Trains on Display
- Arts and Craft Stalls
- HVR Membership Display
- Diesel Electric and Steam Locomotives Operating
- Murray Districts Carriage Club Parade
- Sausage Sizzle
