Jarrahdale Heritage Society’s 2017 walk program continues to amp up the adventure, with August’s walk taking on Kitty’s Gorge.
This walk will be more challenging than past walks, with steep climbs and slippery paths.
However there are outstanding highlights waterfalls and views throughout the walk.
The Kitty’s Gorge trail is considered to be one of the top walk trails in the state by Trails WA.
The walk takes five hours, and the Jarrahdale Heritage Society has offered a return service by cars if you only wish to walk one way.
Attendees are asked to bring along hiking poles, snacks, sturdy walking shoes, weather protection, insect repellent and water.
Participants have also been told to expect to get their feet wet.
Bookings are preferred – go to the Kitty’s Gorge walk event page to do so.
