Tina Says is one of Perth’s most in-demand DJs, and one of the scene's most exciting emerging producers.
She displays an understanding and sophistication beyond her years in her performances – spinning her own remixes and originals amidst only the finest selections which showcase her keen ear for laser-sharp forward thinking beats. Her sets span across the worlds of house, disco, trap and bass with an unprecedented ability to read the room and hold the party in frenzy.
Immense skill, great charisma and burning ambition have seen Tina Says play upwards of 150 club gigs, including a number of residencies, where she's held the attention of hundreds of punters on dancefloors each week.
Tina's talent has also earned her support sets for some of the contemporary scene’s biggest names: Djemba Djemba, Alison Wonderland, Nina Las Vegas, What So Not, Peking Duk, Motez and Golden Features, among many more.
Tina Says' latest track, Sweat, is a peppery late night banger that brings images to mind of dusty market bazaars and the smell of burning incense, combined with a driving beat that never gives you a chance to catch your breath.
"Growing up with a very Greek Dad, I'd always liked the idea of experimenting with musical elements from the Mediterranean, a really strong concept came together in the percussion and strings which formed the basis of Sweat,” she said.
“The rest of the track ended up being built around that to create something I hope produces the same kind of visuals and sensory triggers in other people that it does for me."
Make a date to experience Tina Says in the club and you won’t be let down – her experience playing to diverse crowds, of all sizes, means she always knows exactly what to do to make a crowd happy.
She heads to Rollercoaster on August 19, supported by the Grim DJs. Tickets are available now through Ticketbooth.
