Frederick Irwin Anglican School strongly believes that for students to reach their potential, they must have access to a wide range of facilities in order to enhance developing skill sets.
On the first day of Term 2, the school was excited to reveal to students the new nature playground.
Despite a wet start to the term, the new playground continues to be explored by the students with great interest.
An induction was held for staff and students prior to using the new area and a roster has been set up for the first two weeks to allow all year levels a chance to explore the space thoroughly.
Natural play spaces can result in some scrapes and bruises as the children explore the unfamiliar environment and take some risks on the climbing equipment.
However, these will be monitored and students will be guided and encouraged in their explorations.
Prospective parents will be able to find more information on each of the learning areas and facilities within the ‘Our School’ section of the Frederick Irwin Anglican School website.
