Heads up Mandurah shoppers, it’s only a matter of weeks until the second stage of the Mandurah Forum opens to the public.
The new stage of the $350 million redevelopment will include a brand new Target, a fresh food market and more than 60 specialty stores opening their doors on July 27.
The new fresh food area will also see Mandurah Fresh, Wild Sea Australian Seafood, The Butcher and His Wife, Bakers Delight, Miss Mauds, Muffin Break and Sushi Sushi open in one location.
In order to celebrate the opening of the second stage of the works, the Mandurah Forum will be bringing four days packed with events and entertainment to the region, starting in July 27.
Shoppers will be able to enjoy daily cooking demonstrations, tastings, complimentary sweet treats, refreshments, fashion shows and live entertainment.
Popular West Australian chef Anna Gare will also be visiting the centre on July 29 to share some of her recipe ideas and cook up a storm for shoppers to taste and enjoy.
Fashion and beauty lovers will also be able to try new products and services including complimentary express beauty treatments and hair styling trends at the pop-up glam stations.
Children visiting the centre will enjoy a host of entertainment with daily visits from Captain Barnacle from Octonauts, facepainting stations, balloon artists and fairy floss throughout the centre.
Young nature lovers will also have the chance to get up close and personal with some of Australia’s most fascinating creatures thanks to Meadow Springs-based nature education business Critters Up Close.
“We’re thrilled to invite everyone along to our launch party and we can’t wait to open our doors at 8am on Thursday 27 July and see new and loyal customers explore their beautiful, modern centre with the best everyday shopping experience in the Peel region,” Forum manager Jacqueline McKenzie said.
