After wrapping up some huge sold-out support slots with both Bleeding Knees Club and Skegss, Mandurah’s surf-punk saviours are looking to make their first steps to taking over the world when they release their debut EP on August 5.
Titled Life is Messy, the album fittingly details the three-pieces’ antics – surfing, drinking and partying.
The band have garnered hits all over the internet thanks to lead single Tried my Best.
“The songs are predominantly beat-up surf punk, except for Sharks, which is a bit deeper and darker,” drummer Michael “Grudge” Grainger said.
“Sinking Forties is about sinking beers, Blue Skies, Wet Dreams is about surfing and how much the ocean means to us, and Dollar for a Durry is basically about sinking beers as well.”
Themes we can all relate to. Good Doogs launch Life is Messy on Saturday August 5 at Players Bar.
Tickets are available now through Ticketbooth.
