A strong police presence in central Mandurah on Tuesday led to the arrest of a young male.
A police spokesman said the person of interest was taken into custody following a short foot pursuit around Anstruther Road/Peel Street.
It is understood the male was wanted over a number of police matters.
Investigations continue.
