Mandurah residents are being urged to take care in wild weather, with strong winds already ripping boats from their moorings.
This picture was posted to social media this morning, showing a bot which had been torn from its mooring and sitting against rocks on the bank just before Leura Street.
If anyone knows the owner of the boat, or wants to report a similar issue, Mandurah Volunteer Marine Rescue can be contacted on 9535 4789, by emailing manrescue@westnet.com.au or on radio call signs Ch 16, 77 or 82 (VHF) and Ch 88 or 91 (27 MHZ).
There is currently a strong wind warning applied to Mandurah and surrounding areas.
