A Halls Head woman will face court on Tuesday on child sex charges alleged to have been committed on a boy in detention.
Child Abuse Squad detectives charged a 38-year-old woman as a result of their investigation into her activities whilst employed by the Department of Corrective Services.
It will be alleged between February and May 2017, the woman engaged in consensual sexual acts with a 17-year-old boy who was in detention.
The woman has been charged with:-
• Three counts of Indecent Dealing of a Child over 16 years by a Person in Authority; and
• One count of Procures a Child over 16 years to Perform an Indecent Act by Person in Authority.
She is due to appear before the Armadale Magistrates Court.
