The Leslie Street Centre will welcome a fresh, exciting face when Bunbury’s Bonny Mae Twigg performs on July 19 from 1.15 to 2.15pm.
Nineteen-year-old Twigg is a seasoned performer, and has just finished her first year studying contemporary music at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
Over the years Twigg has performed at a variety of events, including Bunbury's annual Carols by Candlelight, productions with the South West Opera Company, Light the Night, Relay for Life, the opening the Bunbury Speedway season and many more.
Performing has always been Twigg’s top priority and from 2008-2012 she was a member of the Gondwana National Children’s Choir, where she attended choral workshops in Sydney, and had the opportunity to tour with a selected group of Vocalists around America and Canada in 2012.
Twigg is working hard as she aims for a further career in singing and performance, and this will be a great opportunity to see a star in the making.
