Continuing the run of great adventure walks through Jarrahdale’s serene forest environment, Jarrahdale Historical Society’s next walk will take place from 9am sharp on June 25.
The upcoming walk will feature information on all of the fungi and mushrooms in the area.
If you have ever wondered, ‘What mushroom is that’, then this gentle walk is for you.
Walkers will be joined by Faye Arcaro who will show off some of the amazing range of fungi found in the forest.
The variety, colour and form will amaze attendees.
The walk description and length will depend on where the fungi is found, but the Society has assured those interested it will be an interesting walk near Jarrahdale.
The walk starts at 9am sharp, with registrations starting at 8.30.
Cost is a $5 donation, which goes towards the upkeep of the trails.
Attendees are asked to bring water, sturdy walking shoes, a hat, weather protection, insect repellent, a trail snack and a hiking snack.
