Hundreds of residents took to Barracks Lane on Tuesday night to enjoy the city’s second food truck festival.
The event, organised by local space activation group Shape Mandurah, brought live entertainment, dancing, music, and exotic food to the lane for residents of all ages to enjoy.
Following the huge success of their first event where a cupcake stall run out of food in 37 minutes, the organisation brought more trucks, doubled the area for walking and seating, and organised more activities for younger attendees.
The food truck festival was created by Shape Mandurah in an attempt to inject some life to the newly-landscaped Barracks Lane, to discourage anti-social behaviour and to bring the local community together.
The festivals are held on the last Tuesday of every month from 5pm to 9pm.
