MANDURAH: A man has been arrested following a firearm incident in Falcon on Monday evening.
Police were called to Merrin Court before 8pm with reports of an active shooter in the area. Read more.
BUNBURY: A Bunbury man convicted of a string of traffic offences following a police pursuit last week was sentenced to seven months’ imprisonment on Monday.

SOUTH WEST: Ancestral remains of 13 Aboriginal people who were once buried in caves around the Capes have been returned to their burial chambers.
Over the last few months, traditional custodian of the South West Wayne Webb has worked with the WA Museum and the Department of Parks and Wildlife to return the ancestral remains. Read more.
WA: WA’s most notorious roads will be targeted as part of a $44 million road safety boost aimed at saving lives and reducing serious injuries on regional roads, according to federal member for O’Connor Rick Wilson. Read more.
ESPERANCE: The Esperance Library has been targeted for more than $1 million in repairs after a building report revealed the structure will last only 10 years without maintenance.
