UPDATE: Mandurah detectives have charged a 72-year-old man from Falcon with:
- 1 x Unlawful Act with intent to harm
- 1 x Threats to Kill
- 1 x Being armed in a way that may cause fear
- 1 x Discharged a Firearm to the Danger of or to Cause Fear to the Public
He will appear in Mandurah Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
EARLIER: A man has been arrested following a firearm incident in Falcon on Monday evening.
Police were called to Merrin Court before 8pm with reports of an active shooter in the area.
A single shot was fired, but police said no one was injured.
Police blocked off nearby roads and a man was arrested without further incident.
At this stage it is understood no charges have been laid.
Investigations continue.
