Living Waters students, teachers, staff members and their families came together on Wednesday morning to raise funds for cancer support services.
The school held their own Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea event, with all proceeds going towards the Cancer Council to provide basic services to cancer patients and their families.
Students had the chance to drop the school uniform and wear their favourite clothes for a gold coin donation, while attendees contributed to the fundraising buying raffle tickets.
School principal Patrick Moore thanked attendees for their food contributions and donations towards the cause, and reminded people of the importance to help the broader community.
“I really appreciate the support that everybody has provided today,” he said.
