Fire crews were called to car blaze on Lanyon Street in Mandurah on Sunday afternoon.
The fire broke out after 1pm in the 1996 Toyota Soarer.
The cause of the blaze was described by firefighters as mechanical failure in the car’s engine bay.
They estimated $3000 damage done to the vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
