The Makers CEO and local leader Rhys Williams will be the entrepreneur on the couch at this month’s Entrepreneur Café event, a new initiative in Mandurah bringing together aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators.
The Entrepreneur Café concept, a global movement where entrepreneurs meet to discuss ideas, get feedback and connect up, has been bought to Mandurah by local business-woman Veronica Smith, who says she has a passion for helping people find their skills and talents.
“For me, this opportunity is all about bringing a global method for inspiring entrepreneurship to this great City,” she said.
The Entrepreneur Café is inviting entrepreneurs and anyone with an interest in business to join in the discussion and help spark a culture of innovative thinking in Mandurah.
Ms Smith said she was thrilled with the response the initiative has received so far. “Already we’ve met some incredible people and are hearing some great stories”.
“We are delighted to have Rhys speaking with us this month on his story, and answering questions about the opportunities Mandurah has to offer as a City for Entrepreneurship”.
Rhys Williams, who set up Make Place in 2015 as a way of being able to support an entrepreneurial culture in Mandurah said it was an honour to be involved in the program, and exciting to see these sorts of initiatives.
This event will be held at Make Place on Thursday at 6:30pm.
