A South Yunderup mum whose Uber car was severely damaged in an Anzac Day hit and run is desperately hoping the culprit will come forward to help with repair costs so she can get back to work.
Debbie Stewart said the back door of her Hyundai now doesn’t open, rendering it useless for the popular ride-sharing service.
She also needs it to get her daughter to and from school.
The car was parked out the front of her house when it was side-swiped sometime between 6-10am on Tuesday.
“I’ve literally had the worst year,” Ms Stewart said.
“And I’ve had enough.
“People can’t go around doing this and avoiding responsibility and not even say sorry.
“I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.”
Ms Stewart has started a Facebook page to track down those responsible, but hopes they will come forward out of the goodness of their hearts.
She asked those with information to contact her through her Facebook page.
