More than a hundred people gathered at Singleton Beach on Sunday evening to pay a heartfelt tribute to 17-year-old shark attack victim Laeticia Brouwer.
The young surfer was remembered at a special service at her local church before surfers from across the region gathered at the beach for a paddle-out.
Emotional attendees released flowers into the ocean before holding a candlelit vigil.
A second paddle-out was also held in Esperance.
