Major Crash officers are investigating a serious crash which occurred in Ravenswood on Friday about 5.25pm.
The crash occurred when a 1993 green Ford Festiva hatch was travelling west on Pinjarra Road and collided with the rear of a blue 2008 Mazda 2B hatchback just west of the Kwinana Freeway.
A 90-year-old male driver suffered life threatening injuries in the crash and was conveyed by ambulance to Peel Health Campus for medical treatment.
Major Crash investigators are seeking witnesses who may have seen the vehicles driving in the Ravenswood area prior to or at the time of the crash, to call Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
