Mandurah Detectives are hoping to speak to a man who allegedly stole two bottles of whiskey from Dan Murphy’s on Monday.
Staff told police the man visited the liquor store on Pinjarra Road about 10.30am, selected two bottles of Jameson Irish Whiskey and left without trying to pay for them.
When confronted by staff the suspect told them: “Don’t take it personally, it’s not like I’m stealing from you”.
Detectives described the man as in his twenties, about 169 centimetres tall with a solid build and short brown or black curly hair.
He was wearing a dark, long sleeve shirt with a distinctive picture on the front, brown knee-length shorts and black slip on shoes with long black socks.
Police have encouraged anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 and quote reference number 170417 1330 15379.
