Every year residents across the Mandurah area gather to pay their respects to Australian veterans on Anzac Day.
Here are some of the special events held around Mandurah to honour the nation’s servicemen.

Special services
The Mandurah dawn service will be held at 5.30am at the Mandurah war memorial on April 25. The event will be followed by a gunfire breakfast at the Mandurah RSL headquarters on Third Avenue. At 9.30am the main parade will form near Pinjarra Road and will march to the war memorial for a second service.
The Dawesville dawn service will be held at 6am at the Dawesville war memorial on Estuary Drive on April 25. The service will be followed by a gunfire breakfast at the Port Bouvard Recreation and Sporting Club.
The Dwellingup noon service will be held at the RSL Hall on McLarty Street. It will be followed by refreshments and two-up.
The Serpentine-Jarrahdale dawn service will be held at the Anzac Crescent Memorial Park in the corner of Doley Road, Byford at 5.45am, followed by a gunfire breakfast.
The commemorative service will also be held at the Anzac Crescent Memorial Park at 8.15am and will be followed by morning tea.
A Murray eve service will be held on April 24 at the Coolup War memorial. The service will be followed by light refreshments.
On April 25, there will be a gunfire breakfast at 6am at the Pinjarra RSL followed by a service at Bedingfeld Nursing Home at 9am. A parade will form up at 10.30am and will march to the Pinjarra war memorial. Refreshments will be available after the march.
The Waroona-Hamel dawn service will be held in Waroona at 6.30am. The event will be followed by a gunfire breakfast at the Memorial Hall and a parade from the hall to the Waroona war memorial.
The Yarloop dawn service will be held at the war memorial at 5.55am after marchers assemble 300 metres south of the memorial at 5.45am. The service will be followed by a gunfire breakfast.
Sport
Football: Halls Head will be taking on Baldivis at the Securitas Protect Community Stadium in Halls Head at 5.10pm on Anzac Day.
